Thomas Atum O'Kane, Ph.D.

Thomas Atum O’Kane, Ph.D., is a storyteller, a mystic, a guide. He’s a graduate of the Guild for Spiritual Guidance, a spiritual ministry program focusing on the depth psychology of Carl Jung, the vision of Teilhard de Chardin and the practice of Christian Mysticism. A senior teacher and former Secretary General in the Sufi Order International, Atum’s also co-taught an interfaith dialog with Zen Buddhist teachers for over ten years. He has a Master's degree in Psychological Counselling, a Doctorate in Transpersonal Psychology, and conducts Transpersonal Psychology training. His unique honouring of spiritual traditions and psychological themes deepens and enlivens each of his program offerings. Each session with Atum is as much a gift to his participants as a spiritual practice for him.
Thomas Atum O'Kane is the founder of training programs in Spiritual Guidance and leads workshops, retreats, and pilgrimages in North America, Europe and the Holy Lands. He counts among his mentors the Sufi master Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, the Jewish Mystic Reb Zalman Schachter, and his four remarkable children.
