Robert Gass, EdD
Robert Gass has dedicated his life to fostering the connection that each human shares with the great web of life. His work towards this goal includes leadership training for people dedicated to making a better world, coaching and organizational consulting, creating music, practicing ritual and dance and together with his life partner Judith Ansara, holding retreats for couples.
An internationally recognized consultant, coach and seminar leader, Robert has brought his skills and training to a wide variety of institutions- from Brown University, to Chase Bank and General Motors, Rainforest Action Network and MoveOn.org to many years of trainings at Hollyhock - his "favourite spot in the world to teach." He also consults with individuals on many different paths - CEOs, spiritual teachers, and political leaders.
Robert Gass' career as a musician spans 4 decades and 25 albums in a variety of genres. A classically-trained musician at Harvard and the New England Conservatory, Robert was a rock performer and recording artist for Mercury & Avco Embassy in the late 60's and early 70's, before finding his home as a spiritual musician specializing in sacred chant. His CDs and tapes of chant with his renowned choral group, On Wings of Song, have sold more than 600,000 copies, including the best-selling Om Namaha Shivaya, hailed by New Age Journal as "one of the twenty most influential recordings of the last twenty years."
