There is so much to learn, explore and discover during your stay. Relax or adventure at your own pace... Revitalize with a morning yoga class, or  explore the surrounding area with a kayak trip through verdant isles. Drink in the natural beauty during an invigorating hike on nearby trails and watch the sun rise over mountains, while 500 year old giant fir trees sway in a gentle breeze, their sound complementing the steady roll of waves on shore.

Activities

Yoga/ Movement/ Meditation: Wake up to a relaxing and rejuvenating morning movement or yoga and meditation class, or visit the lovingly crafted cob sanctuary. The forest and beach provide countless natural havens.

Bodywork: Enjoy an exceptional session in our quiet bodywork studio nestled in the forest. Feel revitalized in the hands of our highly skilled professional practitioners. Click here for more info.

Naturalist Adventures: Hollyhock is located in a spectacular temperate rain forest with wide biodiversity. Join our resident naturalists for morning rows, afternoon walks and evening star talks. Sunlight, lichens, moss, water, clouds, rock, and the occasional rain-storm have a way of bringing out tranquility and depth.

Kayaking & Sailing with Misty Isles Adventures

Experience an exhilarating sunset paddle with bioluminescence lighting up your every stroke, or visit a notable First Nations pictograph site. These guided kayak trips require no previous experience. All are welcome.

For an afternoon adventure, join us on the West Coast schooner Misty Isles, a 43- foot gaff rigged sailing vessel. Check out world-renowned Desolation Sound, where the mountains rise up from the sea. Another favourite destination is Mitlenatch Island - the largest seabird breeding rookery in the Strait of Georgia. While under sail or being powered by the quiet, fuel efficient engine, Misty Isles is environment and wildlife friendly. This is far more important to us than reaching our desintation at high speed.
