Writing & Meditation: A Way with Words

Jun 4 - 9, 2010

McCandless Ozeki

Presented by: Kate McCandless, Ruth Ozeki

  • Meditation
  • Writing

Experience how attentive sitting can kindle your creativity and enrich your expression on the page. Learn meditation techniques that activate your senses and help you write in more fully embodied language. Study the stories we tell ourselves, and investigate reading and writing as practices of wisdom and compassion. In a supportive and nonjudgmental environment, share work, study craft, and talk about your discoveries and challenges. Leave with foundational meditation and writing practices that you can use in your busy life. This workshop is open to writers and meditators who want to explore these parallel contemplative paths. All levels are welcome.
